From the information gathered from the questionaire and to begin with the following courses will be offered.

All these courses are FREE

Learn up to level 2 for free with the option of gaining a qualification

IT for Communication 10 weeks

Includes : Word processing, planning and organising own ideas,using a range of formats, creating tables, sending and receiving emails, using the internet to research and obtain specific information, presenting infromation.

IT for Calculation and Number 10 weeks

Includes : Handling data, statistics, spreadsheets, charts and graphs, budgeting and finance, estimation. This course will include a range of IT and written work.

Effective Communication 7 weeks

Includes : CV writing, interview techniques and skills, presentation skills, confidence building and body language.
On each course everyone will have their own 'Individual Learning Plan', which will be discussed, in confidence, with the tutor.

Prior to any course each individual will be requested to attend a 3 hour taster course
