• Mary Macarthur Holiday TRUST (MMHT) What is the Mary Macarthur Holiday TRUST (MMHT) ? The Trust has been in existence since 1922 when it was set up in memory of Mary Macarthur who was a champion of better rights for working women. She was a leading light in the Chain-makers dispute now celebrated every year at the Black Country Museum. The Trust aims to provide holidays for women who are in need of a period of rest or holiday by reason of age, poverty, infirmity, disablement or social or economic circumstances.
